Having established his practice in 2002, Kris focuses on helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve and maintain financial independence. Knowing that continued education is critical to providing the most up to date solutions and strategies for clients, Kris upholds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation as well as the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Kris was a 9 time qualifier of the ACE (Achieving Client Excellence) Award while at Signator Investors, Inc. In addition, Kris was the recipient of NAIFA’s Top 4 Advisors under the age of 40 in 2015. Kris and his wife, Cara, have two children, William and Ryan. Kris moved to the Richmond area in 1990 and currently resides in Bon Air. He is a 2000 graduate of Virginia Tech and in his free time enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and watching college football.
The Achieving Client Excellence Award (ACE) was granted by former broker-dealer Signator Investors, Inc. and the John Hancock family of companies. The ACE award is granted to the top 250 advisors each year based on total weighted premium from the sale of both proprietary and non-proprietary protection and wealth products. No other factors are considered.
The 4 under 40 award is presented by the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors of Virginia (NAIFA). Winners are selected by former and current leadership of the NAIFA.
